MIProDefend is a defense system available through our partner company MIProTechs. It was created to give you the critical time needed during an emergency such as a break in, active shooter, or other violent event. Time is essential in these situations and MIProDefend gives you the protection you need.

The system’s cannister looks like a fire extinguisher but is filled with a pepper gel that can be used as self-defense. It rests on either a smart base or case and if removed, it immediately notifies police that a dangerous event is taking place so first responders can be instantly dispatched.

How does MIProDefend Work?

1 ALERT

When the cannister is removed from its base it will sound off a loud, 108-decibel alarm to alert anyone nearby that an emergency is occurring. It will also send automatic notifications to your alarm monitoring company, family, or other set contacts so the appropriate response can be taken.

2 NOTIFY

Most importantly, if the canister is removed, it instantly notifies police so first responders can be immediately dispatched to your location. This time is essential in a situation like this when you may not be able to reach for a phone, the police will already be on their way.

3 DEFEND

Last but not least, MI ProDefend acts as a personal defense system against any intruder or active shooter in your home or workplace. Each cannister is filled with a pepper gel that will shoot 20+ feet and will provide a vital line of defense while you wait for help to arrive.
